Programs we offer schools

Extracurricular Sessions

• For reception age onwards
• Engaging theme every week! We have amazing themes such as dinosaurs, robots, jungle, ocean etc.
• We teach the fundamental athletic skills that underpin the core development of most sports. In some cases our Amazineer coaches can diversify to deliver other sports whilst staying true to the athletic skills that have already been taught.
• Delivered by our professional and reliable Amazineer coaches.
• Generally these sessions are paid for by parents directly and we have a fantastic booking website at Mini Athletics to ensure their transactional experience is smooth and easy.

SEN (special educational needs) sessions – wake up and Gogo

• Sensory session specifically for children with special educational needs or children that struggle to settle into the school day.
• 20-30 minute sessions at registration that help children prepare for the day ahead.
• We create an imaginative experience that will enable the children to feel energised and ready to learn
• Help regulate their senses to achieve the optimum level of alertness required for effective learning
• Sessions split into 3 parts - alerting, organising and calming

PE or PPA cover

• Mini Athletics lessons are in line with the national curriculum which means we can cover PE/PPA.
• Initial we teach children athletic competencies.  We then start to implement these competencies in multi-sports. Once they move competently then they will be more confident in most sports.  Confidence leads to greater sporting participation.
• We can shape our sessions to be in line with year group themes.

 

 

Preschools / Nurseries

• We cater for the following age groups at your nursery:
  • Walking - 2 years
  • 3 - 4 years
• Our sessions are action packed ensuring every child meets the physical activity levels for the day.
• Space concerns? - don’t worry! We will risk assess the space and very often find solutions.
• Our program is designed around the natural curiosities of every child, encouraging exploration of movement patterns through play.
• Our Amazineer coaches are experienced, reliable, well trained, well prepared and professional.
• The Mini Athletics program will be an asset to your nursery - contributing to the overall development and well-being of the children.
